The menu is updated weekly and I love how they have ton’s of recipes each week!!! They even send me updated recipe cards every week in my email, which I love strictly for the convenience factor! I have noticed that the guys box has bigger/deluxe samples, which are unisex!

The theme for May 2014 “Good Form” and after looking at their new  sneak peek I was excited to see what great products would be sent.

Included in every Birchbox Man Subscription box is a description card that educates the subscriber of the full sized products price, which they can then purchase from Birchbox! don’t forget to complete survey’s for each product in order to receive Birchbox Points that can be used to make purchases for these full sized items!

PLANT Face Oil (sample)

The face oil is blessed with Sea Buckthorn oil, which  is prized as a skin healer in Scandinavia. The scent is pleasing and you can slightly smell the sweet hint of Almond oil!

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Vitae Eau de Toilette  (.06 fl oz.) $0.85

Since the newly invented lemon fragrances have hit the market, the invigorating scent has been all the top selling perfumes/colognes! Lemon is my absolute favorite scent and I have to admit the scent on my husband drove me a bit ravenous…lol

The ride up free boxers was the jewel of the subscription box for my husband (sad to say). One thing about reviews I receive from men is that they are thrilled with the reinvented basics!

The Italian-made shave cream has been a hot item since 1948, where there are thousands of highly rated reviews! The cream features a unique cooling Eucalyptus Oil which aides in securing a sleek and cool shave!

As a Birchbox Extra, Birchbox sent our men the grown up version of minty pop rocks! I eagerly waited for my husband to try these so I could get an honest reaction, but the outcome wasn’t as theatrical as I hoped. The slight tingly was all he received although the flavors were exciting to satisfy his needs.

 

The value of May’s subscription box was an excellent $25.48!  However, it would really depend on the subscriber on if they would prefer the boxers of not. For my household, my husband fails to purchase any grooming supplies and was in great need for the boxers.

What is Kiwi Crate?

Includes all the materials for 2-3 crafts. You can also add additional materials for another sibling for just $9.95!

If your Kids are like mine, they love doing crafts (Ages 4 & 9). I have been having a hard time finding a reliable and entertaining Subscription box. My lovely kids eyes light up when they are out checking the mail! I love Kiwi Crate; this kids craft box has not let me down thus far!

 

As with all Kiwi Crate‘s you will see that they spare no expense in creating a magical experience for your children. I love the quirky details that are scattered throughout the box! The two project’s within the themed “Rain-forest” box are: my rain-stick and my jumping frogs (Also included is a Bonus-Rain-forest and snake cut-out). We are going to save these projects for the Summer to do together!

 

The first project My Rainstick includes all the items you need to make your own kid friendly rainstick! Kiwi Crate provides everything you need and I love the guides for each project, which make creativity a breeze for kids!

 

Since each project are packaged separate, we will be saving the projects for summer!

 

The Second project, My Jumping Frogs project included all the supplies to make your very own froggie friends. I love that each project not only comes with everything, but allows me the time to spend with my children without the hassle of having to make major plans on what we should do!

 

Since each project is separate, we can save a project for another time. We are going to wait and complete this project during summer break!

 

The bonus project includes multiple projects you can do on your own, with two projects included!

 

If your kids get creative enough they can create a colorful jungle! Included is a how to project guide on creating your own spinning snake with a cut-out provided!

The best thing about Kiwi Crate is that each project is grouped in it’s own separate packaging, so if you want to save the individual projects for another time they make storing easy! We are going to save all the projects for Summer  Break, so we can have time to really get creative!

What is Hello Fresh?

Get delicious recipes and all the ingredients in the exact quantities for 2 or 4 people. In the Veggie Box get delicious vegetarian recipes and all the fresh ingredients in the exact quantities for 2 or 4 people

I usually order the Classic Box, for two people $69, which  shipments arrive on Thursdays. You are able to select three different meals that you want, which are available for selection on Thursdays. So in total the 3 different meals, calculate to a whopping 6 meals total under the two person $69 option!!!

My prior Hello Fresh  order  (click here to see the  review) was amazing! I was able to cook with minimal preparation and everything I made tasted fresh and delightful.
