What is Kiwi Crate?
Includes all the materials for 2-3 crafts. You can also add additional materials for another sibling for just $9.95! If your Kids are like mine, they love doing crafts (Ages 3 & 16+). I have been having a hard time finding a reliable and entertaining subscription box. The original Kiwi Crate has now been modified for ages 4-8!

(New) Tinker Crate (Ages 9-14+): Tinker Crate inspires kids to explore and learn about science, engineering, and technology—and have fun doing it. Every month, a new crate to help kids develop a tinkering mindset and creative problem solving skills.
Doodle Crate (Ages 9-16+): Doodle Crate inspires girls to learn new skills and gain creative confidence. Every month, a new super-fun DIY projects that girls will love to design and create.
This month I chose the Doodle Crate, since my daughter loves to craft and is 11!
Included in every subscription box is the fold out handbook that will take you child on their journey! The Theme for Doodle Crate October was “Painted Canvas Pouches”. This was their first box under the new lines, and I was already impressed by the detailed box received!
The instructions are included in the box, so your child can work step by step in creating the project!
Here are the disposable paint cups and a foam brush.
The Tulip Fabric Paint (in awesome colors!).
The canvas bags- which can be used as pencil holders, makeup bags, or whatever your little tween wants to use them for!
Thin painters tape (for the designs) , Yarn (for the Pom Poms), and a gel pen (bonus) was included also!
Finally, Doodle crate included this ol’e So Cute Journal, which speaks volumes to my daughter. I think she loved the notebook and gel pen the best!
My daughters finished Canvas Pouches! For her first time doing this project all by herself I was impressed! I loved the stripe bag the best, but told her I loved them both the same…lol
I love the new selections by Kiwi Crate, which offers a different project for those of us with children with vast differences in ages (age 5 and 11— pretty decent age gap). My daughter always get so excited when a new box arrives, but it does get a bit annoying during the wait when she keeps asking “when is my box coming”. However, the joy and pride she displays when making something by herself is irreplaceable and I thank Kiwi Crate for keeping her creativity blooming!
