Many people wonder, why on earth would someone really be this interested in subscription boxes. There must be a gimmick!
A person could not like subscription boxes this much, right?
Wrong!
Let me invite you into my mind….
Here is insight into my shopping past:
Shopping to me is quite a rush. From the moment I spy an item, to the time I process in my mind if the purchase is worthy, I am loaded with the anticipation of actually trying the product. I found the purchase was not as thrilling as he rush of getting a good deal on a new product.
Many shoppers tend to have Shopper’s REGRET. When you feel bad for the purchase you made…you know…that feeling you probably are feeling right now after Christmas shopping and blowing most of your paycheck on yourself instead of your family and friends.
Luckily for me, I rarely have the feeling of regret on purchases I make (after you realize that you are addicted to shopping you just don’t seem to care anymore or I’m in denial…either way I am ok with it).
I shopped anywhere I could find a deal; and yes anywhere, like: goodwill, salvation army, Macy’s sale racks, Nordstrom’s online, Burlington’s online…the list is still ongoing.
Even now I feel glued to my technological vices wondering where the next big sale is; however, the feeling is a bit different now.
I used to spend thousands on shopping trips, which seems unreal… but people do it all the time (just not on credit…lol).
Now…….
I realized I needed a sort of rehab, that I can kind of control. So I ventured into the world of Subscription boxes. For me, it is the ability to constantly try new stuff, and keep a budget for my monthly purchases. My purchase budget is rather high (smile), but still a lot less than it use to be.
