Since I already receive so much make-up, I wanted to try something else, so I purchased the Wantable Intimates box during the Cyber Monday sale (BOGO) and received this second box free! I have yet to be disappointed with my Wantable Intimates box, so so let’s take a peek at my January 2014 Wantable Intimates box review!
The box is a blank white glossy box with the Wantable logo and inside is foam to hold each item safely in the box.
As I opened my Wantable Accessories box a quirky teal banner looks back at me and states “Hello Again, Beautiful”!
On the back is a hilarious message letting you know that they thought of everything and included a message quoting Yves Saint Laurent “Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it”. Food for thought indeed!
In every box is a Wantable profile preference sheet, which will remind you of the options you selected in your beauty profile (just in case you want to change any of your answers; reminds me of cheating on a test…lol). I have included my profile here, so if you like what I receive than you can tailor your own to receive a similar box!
Wantable sure knows how to pack a box! this box was bursting with goodies!
Steve Madden Sleepy Shorts (Print Mania Blue) $30
Here the color looks more corn flower blue, but the color is more of a teal up close. I love these sleep shorts, because they are ultra comfy and have a thick protective cotton band across the top that is not constricting and allows the shorts to fit to perfection. There are actually slits on each side, which allows you to have flexibility when you sit.
Again, I must say… the reason I love subscription boxes is because they get me out of my comfort zone and allow me to experience items I would never have purchased on my own. I would have never bought sleep shorts for $30, but because of my Wantable Intimates box was able to experience why these shorts are so awesome and get other items within the cost!
Happy Socks Knee High’s (Grey/Pink Color Yako) $14
Not sure why I love me some Swedish Happy Socks… maybe it is the colors or that they fit really good or possibly that they last forever! Either way I just received my first Happy Socks tube socks and won’t take these bad boys off! I mean these socks do not constrict my feet and they fit perfectly under my boots; what else could I ask for in the winter!
Lake Blue Pointelle Ankle Sock – Pact (Color Lake Blue) $ 8
I received some of these in Apricot, so I am glad I received blue this time. The socks are seriously comfy and the detail (hard to see in the picture) is like delicate lace. For those who are not familiar with Pointelle it is where the- sewing machine skips a stitch here and there to create a design. I’m loving these Organic Cotton socks.
Bella + Canvas Low Rise Thong (Color Chocolate) $9
Another reason I love my subscription box… Who knew that this little piece of fabric was from the Bella line, which they only include the softest and most flattering super soft combed ring-spun cotton. However after researching reviews on Amazon found that reviews were 50/50. I guess I will have to wear them and see.
St. Eve Seamless Boyshorts (color Pink Stripe) $9
The seamless boyshorts are already a staple in my wardrobe, because I wear a lot of skirts and dresses at work and love the feeling of a covered bum!
They sell the same brand at Kohls, which is on sale for $6.99 or less right now… if anyone is interested.
All-in-all I am not sure on how satisfied I am with this box. I love the Steve Madden Sleepy Shorts, and my Happy socks, but also found everything else to be items I already had. Hmmm… although the value of the box was greater than I paid, I feel that this box could have been better.
I really should not complain, because I paid $0 since this was my free box of the bogo special, and received a box totaling at a retail value of $70!
Well, I will see what next month has in store for me!
