Since I am trying to revert my hair back. to its natural curly state I need all the help I can get, so I am trying Curlbox for the first time! My children also have coarse and thick textured curly hair so we all go through tons of hair products, which can be very expensive when you are experimenting on new hair remedies.

Creme of Nature has been one of those products that has been around for years and has constantly evolved with the changing times. The new Straight from Eden Plant-Derived Conditioning Treatments are made with plant-derived ingredients like coconut, avocado, and olive oil to rejuvenate & fortify all hair types! Best yet… these products contain no sulfates, Parabens, or alcohol!

Elasta QP Olive Oil Mango Butter Conditioner (15 oz/ Full Size) $5.99

The Mango Butter smells divine and is supposed to add strength and shine to damaged hair. This product is said to be great for natural, braided and even straight styles and has some pretty awesome reviews!

Ouidad Curl Recovery Defining Styling Souffle (0.6 fl oz) $1.80, Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper Original (1 fl oz) $2.94, &

Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper(1 fl oz) $1.12

These samples will last a few days each depending on how you store them. I have tried Ouidad before, but Curly Hair has been on my wishlist ever since Birchbox did a post about curly hair and this was one of the products many reviewers raved about. I can’t wait to finally try this out for myself!

All-in-all I am impressed with my first box! I paid around $20 plus shipping for my box and received around $30 in hair products! I especially like that the bulk of the items are full sized which really gives you some bang for your buck. If you are a hair product junkie than this may be the box for you!

The Final Week of the current Year approaches and as we are getting ready for the New Year we leave behind the old one. This is the final menu of 2014! The last thing I want to do is worry about what I need to cook for dinner, so this box is great because there is no meal planning, just follow the recipe card and avoid grocery shopping trips during the chaos of the shopping season!

The menu is updated weekly and I love how they have ton’s of recipes each week!!! I have even used this as a date night treat to surprise my significant other from time to time and he loves it (the only time he eats his veggies)!

I live in a rural area, so being able to select future orders for my busy lifestyle is ideal! Also we do not have too many choices out here and I am not much of a got out and eat type a person, since my kids are super picky. The meals allow me to get out of the normal life of parenthood and try something with minimal sacrifice. Any time I go out to eat it is like the battle of the minds and the kids always win….this time Mom get’s to pick!

One unique fact about the Lover’s Blade is that it is essentially uni-sex! The 90 degree pivot head allows for one of the closest shave that four blades can offer. The feature of this blade is the stainless steel blades that have an open back that allows ease for unclogging the blade under your water faucet (Girls… you will love using this blade yourself)!

Never thought wipes were manly???? Well, think again! These peppermint wipes are not only flush-able but they are super cooling! The best part is that the packaging is indiscreet and decorative enough to leave out in the open!

I hate when my husband goes through his same shaving routine like he is in a rut. Both these products get my husband outside of his normal routine and into the modern world of shaving. The all in one moisturizer is an easy final step to his new shave routine. The anti-aging formula of the post shave moisturizer may be the only thing he will want to use (post-shave) from now on!

My husband switched from traditional shaving creams to Shave Butter’s a while after starting Birchbox Man and receiving a sample.
