The theme for April 2014 “Spring Fever” after looking at the sneak peek I was excited to see what great products would be sent. I have noticed that the guys box has bigger/deluxe samples, which are unisex!

Ever since my husbands first sample of English Laundry he has always enjoyed this sample in his birchbox man! The scent is an almost earthy citrus and smells yummy on  him!

I have been wanting to try this exfoliater for some time now and was so excited to receive it for the first time in my husband’s box! The reviews are fantastic and almost as good as Glam Glow, so I am swiping this product from my husband!

Davines Naturaltech Energizing Shampoo (3.38 fl oz.) $8.68

I love Davines!!!! When I heard my husband’s box would have a sample momma got very happy! One of my first Birchbox’s had the Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner and my hair turned out exquisite afterwards!

The value of April’s subscription box was a decent $30! The box was better for me than for my husband since I stole everything from him!

I am an exfoliating queen when it comes to my bathing routine! Normally, I purchase scrub mittens from my Asian grocery store down the street, so I am loving getting one of these mitts in my subscription!

Cult Gaia Turband  $48

I posted about this turband when the first spoiler came out. The print is super cute and it has a wire in the band to help keep the band in place.

Kai Perfume Oil $48

The gardenia-infused aroma is a bit too flowery for me. I do like the roll-on applicator, which is perfectly sized for my bag.

Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer  $38

I have been waiting for this primer to come in one of my subscription boxes for a while now. I have been lusting after this ever since I found it highly rated on Sephora! I must admit the serum is a lot like my hourglass primer, but the scent has citrus notes (which I love). The primer is fantastic!

Level Naturals Shower Bombs $7.99

These shower bombs are placed at the foot of your shower to fill the air with eucalyptus. I will save these potent bombs for my sick days, which should be invigorating when I have a cold!

The Better Chip Spinach and Kale Corn Chips $1.99

The corn chip was not spectacular, but it was good.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Invisible Spray  $25

I can never have enough dry shampoo and was excited to try the no-build-up formula!

Merrithew Mini Stability Ball and DVD $28.94

We received the same ball in our PopSugar subscription for March, but as an added bonus this one comes with a workout dvd!

For paying $49.99 for this box and receiving over $215 worth of items I am impressed! The blend of products this month were very pleasing, which my favorite item is the turband and primer! Just the primer alone in the box was enough to win me over and pretty much took care of the rest of the items in the box!

 Grosche let’s me use the hand-made beaker to press, strain, and pour delicious brews. I tried my first French Pressed coffee with ease and success and found the aromatic flavors to be ground moving!

Tiesta Tea blends black tea with vanilla and blue mallow blossoms for a delicious and smooth taste!

Dulcinea Coffee Beans, 6oz, $7

Cafe Integral is a Nicaraguan coffee blend that has a molasses-like sweetness along with notes of cocoa. The coffee was aromatic, but not as strong as I had hoped. Still the brew was very tasty!

I love the simple ease of this tool, which requires two AA batteries to whip up frothed milk!

All in all the value of this Cafe Limited Edition Set was $67! I was in the market for a good french press, so the value of this limited edition set was outstanding! I feel that this kit brought forth a lifestyle change, which allowed me to go out and seek new types of coffee beans I can try in my grinder! It is amazing how long I have lived without trying fresh ground brews at home!

In every Barkbox, I have noticed a trend with getting one of these in every box. My pup loves these things and seems to expect these in every box!

We received around $40 worth of items, with a perfect mix of treats and toys! If you are a new pet owner or even an existing one and want to give your best friend a treat every month, then Barkbox is a fantastic investment!

Barkbox always saves me that dreaded trip to the pet store, where I always impulse buy and spend too much money on so called deals for my pup. Pet Smart is like Walmart… you go there for one thing and come out of there with more stuff than you can physically use in a month! With Barkbox I can relax at home, and have confidence that every month Naps (my pup) will be taken care of within a budgeted amount
