What is BeautyBox5?
BeautyBox5 is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers 5 cosmetic samples every month. Typically in these boxes, everyone will receive the same products with little to no variation. You’ll receive a mixture of luxury, commonly known brands, niche brands, eco-conscious and even vegan brands.
Here is my February 2014 BeautyBox5 subscription box!
BeautyBox5 theme for February 2014 the theme is “Birthday”, which they have created the box to celebrate their Birthday in February 2012.
The first thing you will always see when opening any subscription box is a card, postcard, or booklet detailing the contents in the box and establishing why they selected these items for you.
Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara $8.48 & Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash (2 fl oz.) $0.75
I am excited to try the Elizabeth Mott Mascara because the formula is said to deliver volume, lengthen, and curl in just one swoop! I already use Aveeno and can always use more travel sizes for my upcoming trips!
Rock Star Nails Sprinkles (Full Size) $14.99 & Rock Star Nails Polish (Full Size) $14.99
I was not able to locate this product online, but was able to try out the set immediately after receiving them. I love the ease of this set! All you have to do is paint, dip your nail in the beads, give it a top coat and your done! The pink polish is so pretty I can also use it alone!
John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner (2 samples each; 0.28 fl oz each) $0.64
This shampoo has sulfates so I won’t be using it, but my daughter is the second inline for samples (since she is the only girl in the house besides me) and will be my tester.
I was impressed with the value from BeautyBox5 subscription box this month! The value this month was $39.85, which is by far the best value I have received from BeautyBox5 ! I vote for more Birthday’s if that is what it takes to get more cosmetic samples with higher values! Can’t Wait for March’s Box to come!
