The project gives you everything you need to complete the crafting task they send you. The value of receiving a mystery box is far better than purchasing select projects one at a time!
Let’s take a peek into September’s box (I received this box earlier in September, but just had a chance to finish the project with my daughter yesterday). 
Included in your box is the mystery craft of the month! The Sunfold Printing Kit!
Here is the included scarf that will miraculously change colors when exposing the chemicals included in the box to sunlight.
Included is the Lumi Inkodye in Blue, Red, and Detergent (also instructions and gloves). Just this kit alone retails for $29.99 on most sites, so the $19.99 I paid for the project gave me a $10 discount not to mention the scarf was included!
The instructions are included with the kit, but also Darby Smart refers each subscriber to their website for a video tutorial. We just used the paper instructions, which only took us around 40 minutes to complete this project (includes washing and drying time).
Following the instructions, we chose a pattern and sat the scarf outside for 20 minutes. We had to dilute the inkodye in water to receive my daughter’s pink color (the more you dilute the lighter the effect). What happens is that the dye is sensitive to light, so placing the pattern allows color to appear only in certain areas giving us a tie dye affect.
Here is the finished scarf! After washing with the included detergent it is ready to wear!
The project was really quick and a great project for the fall! It took less than an hour and the results are gorgeous! I ordered a three month subscription so the box was even cheaper than the $19.99 it usually is… what a deal!
