What is BeautyBox5?
BeautyBox5 is a subscription-based, beauty sampling program that delivers 5 cosmetic samples every month. Typically in these boxes, everyone will receive the same products with little to no variation. You’ll receive a mixture of luxury, commonly known brands, niche brands, eco-conscious and even vegan brands.
Here is my April 2014 BeautyBox5 subscription box!
BeautyBox5 theme for April 2014 the theme is “Shades of Beauty”, which is the first box I have received with mostly Beauty Products!
The first thing you will always see when opening any subscription box is a postcard detailing the contents in the box, establishing why they selected these items for you, and the retail price (just in case you were interested in buying the full-size products).
Jergens Natural Glow 3 Days to Glow Moisturizer Sample Packs $1.50
This was my least favorite item in the box, particularly because I loathe self-tanners simply because I have- no use for them.
Nicka K New York Hydro Lipstick in Concerto (Full Size) $4.99
The lipstick is not the best or worst I have used and is a vibrant shade of red. Not sure how I feel about the brand yet, but I do like how the brand incorporates jojoba oil for lightweight conditioning.
Bonne Bell Lip Definer in Boysenberry (Full Size) $3.95
Two Words: Bonne Bell! Who knew they were still around. The lip definer brought back memories of my childhood and juvenile makeup education as a child. Back then I thought Chapstick and flavored gloss was all a girl needed…lol

This is one of the best palette samples I have received!

Inside the palette is three gorgeous shades that are highly pigmented! Normally, I receive just one color choice in subscriptions, so having the three is fantastic!
Blum Naturals All-Purpose Cleansing Wipes in Citrus Scent (30 wipes) $2.49
The facial wipes are adorably contained within this key-chain! How cute is this!
With over $16 worth of products and only paying around $8 with my purchase of the 1 year membership this is a deal! My favorite items would have to be the Blum Wipes and the palette!
