Every order comes with the Recipe Cards for each of your selections. I selected 3 different meals from  the April 23rd 2014 Selections. Every order arrives just when they say it will and comes in a huge box like a chest, insulated with foam and ice packs!

Seared Steak

Included are recipe cards that rest inside the box. Here is the front of the Recipe card for the first order.

I enjoy how each item is perfectly measured and freshly delivered. The meals are never over-complicated.  I am a simple eater and in a weird way adventurous, so it did not surprise me at all that I have not heard or tried some of these ingredients before.20140423-183749.jpg

The first meal was my absolute favorite! I was surprised that everyone (kids included) cleaned there plates!  I am always intimidated with what appeared to be new foods or techniques (curse you Food Network), so the subscription allows me the ease and know how to try and even cook new and different foods!

The Second Recipe -  Asian Chicken Salad

The ingredients for each of my meals are separated and ready for cooking. Prep is a cinch, which most of the time I am always tired before I even cook after the scavenger hunt of finding the right ingredients and prepping everything.

The step-by-step recipe cards that are included are handy! The front of the Recipe card is pictured above. The recipe cards allow me to prep and cook this meal in less than 30 minutes!  I can even save the recipe cards for repeat recipes I want to make totally on my own if I choose!

The Second meal was my first attempt to make an Asian chicken Salad! My husband ate all his veggies, but my daughter tossed Ranch Dressing on her’s…. what! The girl loves ranch dressing!

The Third Recipe -  Lamb Pitas

Again, the ingredients for each of my meals are separated and ready for cooking making prep a cinch.

The lamb pitas were awesome! The meat was super fresh and the veggies were crunchy! I did not realize that lamb was as easy to cook; kind of like cooking ground beef but with mint.

The one reason I love these food subscription boxes is because of how I can easily create a new and fresh meal flawlessly every week or at least once a month (meals took under 30 minutes each)!

It is amazing the items my husband and kids are trying with these boxes. My husband especially has seen that he is not as picky when hearing the name of an ingredient is in the food, because most of the time he smells it and it smells fantastic! He is the pickiest eater, and I have found that this experience has allowed us to try many items that I would never have bought before, mainly due to his taste for food being so particular and plain!

The menu is updated weekly and I love how they have ton’s of recipes each week!!! You can skip multiple weeks, and there is no membership fee!

My prior Hello Fresh  order  (click here to see the  review) was amazing! I was able to cook with minimal preparation and everything I made tasted fresh and delightful.

At just $8.16 per plate with the coupon for three completely different meals you get to choose, it is so worth the splurge… come  on be adventurous and give your taste-buds a present!
