Cloud 9 Monthly Treat Box

Cost: $15 (plus shipping in the U.S)

What is Cloud 9 Monthly Treat Box?

This Family owned new start-up hand selects every item and tries each product in order to ensure great quality is going into their  subscription boxes! Each box comes packed with a mix of  samples of delicious gourmet treats, beauty products, and even surprises!

Choose between: The Cloud 9 Sample Box – a mix of samples of gourmet foods and beauty products or February Chocolate Box.

Cloud 9 graciously sent me there February Chocolate Box to review this month! Let’sstart reviewing!

As pictured above, the white subscription box is dressed with a delicate pink ribbon/twine holding the contents within. The Partner’s Crackers were to bid for the box so they were safely tucked around the box in the white padded envelope the box came in.

Goodness! I am already amazed with the variety of chocolate and the thought that went into this subscription!

On the back of the note card was a list of every product and why each item was selected for the box.

Jiva Cubes: Hot Chocolate (2 pack) $1.25

Each cube is packed with fine Colombian Cacao and unprocessed  Panela brown sugar! The tiny Jiva cubes take portability to a new level and allow you to drink Cocoa on the go! My daughter loves hot cocoa and tried this and said it was “pretty yummy”!

Plush Puffs Gourmet Marshmallows (Chocolate Chipetta) $1.33

These cocoa flavored  marshmallows are laced with micro-mini chocolate chips! My daughter and son live off of marshmallows and had a field day eating these fantastic creations!

Plush Puffs Gourmet Marshmallows (Chocolate Chipetta) $1.33

Another shot of the actual Marshmallows… yummy!

Big Nanny’s Biscottis $1.50

The soft and delicate biscotti tasted light as air and simply melted in our milk! I like a crisper biscotti, but this was nice for a change.

Lake Champlain Chocolates: Milk Chocolate Carmel & Dark Chocolate Raspberry (2 of each) $3.25

The bite-sized milk and dark chocolate hearts were filled with smooth, rich caramel and a blend of raspberry (dark chocolate has raspberry filling). The decadent chocolate was quite a treat and made my taste buds crave these little delights!

Partner’s Crackers: MiaDolci Chocolate & Vanilla Swirl Cookies (2 oz) $1.37

These crispy and lightly sweetened crackers are one of my favorite things in the box! If wheat thins and teddy grahams had a lightly sugar coated baby these little crackers would be that baby! They are so good I immediately ordered more on Amazon ( 4 6.5 ounce boxes for $17.85)!

DeBrand Rasberry Truffles (1 truffle) $3.00

The fantastic ending to my chocolate adventure was with one of these DeBrand Raspberry Truffles! n the very first day I devoured this edible piece of art and found myself hitting the floor in awe of how good this chocolate really is! I immediately told my husband that next Valentines day I want DeBrand’s Truffle Collection or Classic Collection for my gift!

I was truly amazed at the fantastic selection of products included in this chocolate box! Although the subscription box only had a value of $11.70, what I believe to be more valuable (then looking at the mere cost) is the experience gained! I was able to find Mia Dolci Partners Crackers to be delightful and was able to try DeBrand Truffles for the first time! This is what subscription boxes are all about….  receiving hand selected goods that you would never have tried on your own, let alone known about! Also, the items included were a perfect example of products that you could not simply sample on your own.  For example, the Truffle would have cost me $18 just to try one (the truffles only come in sets)!

Everyone places a different value on subscription boxes. However, I believe the most valuable contribution that subscription services give to consumer’s is the ability to experience brands they would never have tried before for only a portion of the retail price! The February Cloud 9 Monthly Treat Box was a perfect example of what sampling is all about!

What do you think about the Cloud 9 Monthly Treat Box ?
