What is Kiwi Crate?

If your Kids are like mine, they love doing crafts (Ages 4 & 9). I have been having a hard time finding a reliable and entertaining Subscription box. My lovely kids eyes light up when they are out checking the mail, so I thought I would give this one a go.

Here is my Review of the December Box for my 9 year (Age 10 tomorrow, both my kids have December Birthdays) olds order!

The quirky details of the box had my daughter at “Hello”… lol

Well, as soon as you open your Kiwi Crate you have this friendly little mascot guiding your way through… I just love the detail they put into Kiwi Crate.

Included was a poster so my daughter can track her craft assignments and boxes every month for Kiwi Crate. They will send her a new sticker to add to the poster with every box!

The first thing Sequoia (my daughter) said when she opened the box was the new Kiwi Crate scissors that were just for her.

The Salt Dough instruction booklet was a nice gesture for Kiwi Crate to include. It was not one of the included crafts, but is a craft that my daughter is going to try next! However, we did get a nifty snowflake cookie cutter for the project pictured below!

This project was adorable. Basically you were given laminated outlines to trace with special paint and it would create the Window clings! I had to keep reminding my daughter to follow the directions, but I think she did alright.

Here are the directions for the Kiwi Crate Gel Clings. Nicely done to portray instructions for eager hands! I love the pictures that demonstrate what she was supposed to do; my daughter does not prefer to read, so pictures are her go to in times of confusion!

Yes, Kiwi Crate  gives you everything you need for the projects included and more.

I love that this is a non-toxic paint (always a plus for kids crafts…lol) and it is just enough for the project  (Window Clings) suggested in the Kiwi Crate.

They even included Kiwi Crate‘s Mascot as a window cling to encourage my little crafter… Awe… she might not get this back from me.

The second activity, was this cute little snow ball toss. At first, I did not know what to make of it, but my daughter followed the directions and it was a success!

They provided the Glue for the Kiwi Crate snow ball toss project.

And they provided all of this!!!! A headband, string, Velcro circles, a ping pong ball, cut-outs, and more

Awe… My daughters face was swollen from an allergic reaction to her medicine, she reminded me of the movie “Hitch” when Will Smith’s face became swollen. Can’t even see her eyes. Thank you Kiwi Crate for bringing a smile to her face during this time; boy did she need cheering up!

The only thing I wish Kiwi Crate would have done is sent both my son’s and my daughter’s box at the same time. My daughter’s box showed up first (although, I order them both the same time) and it made my son a bit jealous, but I bribed him with a hug and it made everything better (not to mention lots of candy and telling him that his was on the way).

Did you order your December Kiwi Crate? What did you think about your Kiwi Crate?
